Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging GD7 Paving and Resin Ltd for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all quotations, contracts, and services provided by us unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Services

We provide the following services:

  • Resin bound driveways and paths
  • Block paving for driveways, patios, and pathways
  • Tarmac and asphalt surfacing
  • Garden design and landscaping
  • Driveway repairs and maintenance
  • LED lighting installation

3. Quotations

All quotations are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Quotations are based on information provided at the time of survey and may be subject to revision if:

  • Additional works are discovered during the course of the project
  • Material prices increase
  • Site conditions differ from initial assessment
  • Specifications are changed by the customer

4. Acceptance

A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing or by signing the acceptance form. A deposit of 25% of the total contract value is required upon acceptance, except for emergency callouts or repairs under £500.

5. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms:

  • 25% deposit upon contract acceptance
  • 40% upon commencement of works
  • 35% upon practical completion

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards. We do not accept cash payments over £1,000.

Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel the contract within 14 days of acceptance (cooling-off period) without penalty. After this period, cancellation charges may apply based on works already undertaken and materials ordered.

7. Project Timeline

Estimated start dates and durations are approximate. We will make every effort to complete works within the agreed timeframe but cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather, supply chain issues, or force majeure events.

8. Warranties

We provide the following warranties:

  • 10-year workmanship guarantee on all completed works
  • Up to 25-year manufacturer warranty on materials (varies by product)
  • Public liability insurance of £5 million

Warranties are valid provided works have been paid for in full and are not invalidated by subsequent damage, misuse, or unauthorised alterations.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring clear access to the work area
  • Moving valuables and fragile items
  • Informing neighbours of potential disruption
  • Providing parking for our vehicles and equipment
  • Ensuring gas, electric, and water supplies are accessible

10. Site Access

By commissioning works, you grant us permission to access the property during agreed working hours. Out-of-hours access may be arranged by prior agreement.

11. Waste Disposal

We are responsible for the disposal of all waste materials generated during the project. We hold a waste carrier's licence and will provide a waste transfer note upon request.

12. Liability

Our total liability under any contract shall not exceed the value of that contract. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses. We are fully insured for public liability and employer's liability.

13. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service. If you have any concerns, please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to resolve the matter promptly. For unresolved disputes, you may contact the relevant trade association or alternative dispute resolution service.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
